DriverLog ("the app") helps drivers track earnings, fuel, and driving insights. This policy explains what the app stores and how it is handled. DriverLog is designed to be private by default.
Guest mode: if you use the app as a guest, all your data (sessions, fuel entries, preferences) is stored only on your device in the browser's local storage. None of it leaves your device.
Account mode: if you create an account to sync across devices, we store:
Passwords are handled by our authentication backend (PocketBase) and stored as secure hashes โ never in plain text. Your driving data is private to your account and is not readable by other users.
Account data is stored on the DriverLog sync server operated by the app's creator. Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. We do not sell your data.
The app may display ads via Google AdSense. Google may use cookies or device identifiers to serve and measure ads. See Google's advertising policies for details and opt-out options. DriverLog does not share your account email or driving entries with advertisers.
Consent (EEA, UK & Switzerland). For visitors in these regions, ads follow Google's EU User Consent Policy. We use a Google-certified Consent Management Platform (integrated with the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework) to request your consent before any personalized ads or non-essential cookies are used; by default consent is set to "denied" until you choose. You can change or withdraw consent any time from the privacy / consent prompt, and manage Google ad personalization at myadcenter.google.com.
DriverLog is intended for working drivers and is not directed at children under 13.
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
